What can I say...I was blown away...Fricken Awesome!

Any movie that starts out playing a tune from the Ozzman you know is gonna be good!

Stan Lee, Marvel, and Sony did a fantastic job on this one...highly recommend!

If you loved Marvel comics as a kid and today....this is a must see....you will not be disappointed!

Oh....and Merkin if you read this make sure to take your camera phone for the Nicolas Cage scene standing in front of the mirror fresh out of the shower......Carnac predicts you will have a new wallpaper on your phone! LOL

Remember you heard it here first folks!!!!!

Oh man...see it on the better screen with better sound system. The liberty has old gear does it not? This one worth the few extra bucks man! Sit up front to in about the 6th row in the middle....awesome!

I finally saw Martin Scorsese's incredibly kick-ass "The Departed" on Super Bowl Sunday. Awesome! It's just out on DVD but still playing at the 2nd-run theaters. This one is well worth seeing on a big screen. I hope Scorsese finally wins the Best Director Oscar!

"Older gear" circa 1995, when they were all analogue (Dolby Spectral Recording)......they have gone digital (DD/AC3?, and I believe DTS) in years since..............

Although if you want a really suckey A/V experience, see a film at the Kiggins. $3.99 tickets and trust me, you get what you pay for.

Liberty still has the old eight-platter projector tho. (In fact you can see when it is changing platters, as a brief black "blink" on the screen.) Wish they would set up a continuous-loop system like the Regal has.

But at least I can return from the Lib with a little bit more of my paycheque remaining in my pockets than if I was to go to the Regal. (I can even afford to go out to dinner after seeing the Liberty!)

The Kiggins had some sort of decent sound system a few years ago - did they dump it? I really dig the Kiggins actually. "The Departed" is playing with "Borat" (nice double-feature - wow!!!). I'm tempted to go (having not seen "Borat"). I'm guessing "Borat" would be a good come-down from the ultra-intense "The Departed."

Saw it over the weekend. A nice vanilla-flavored action confection, but never got me really engaged. My kids (9 and 11) loved it.
