Got some great establishments that are hidden in plain site? Let's here about them.......Portland's best kept secrets revealed right here!

Here is one for those in search of Jewelry for their signifigant others.....or themselves!

Franco Diamonds (located inside of Sawn Island Marine) is the best place to go for great quality and he lowest prices! Ask for OPAL! Needless to say "OPAL" has some beautiful Opal's along with diamond's, pearls, and everything else!

Here is their website but you gotta visit it and see for yourself!

BTW.
You can also check out the new Accadia's at the GMC dealer while you are there. They are right at the bottom of the hill on the corner of Basin and Going. Some places talk about low pressure salesman......how does no pressure sound to you!

For computer or AV cables and related accessories, this place rules. Dirt cheap and massive selection...

They have a small storefront near Cornell&Cornelius Pass in Hillsboro.

Not exactly *in* PDX, but very close to, if this counts........

You want cheap bike parts (cost, not necessarily performance?) Schroeder's Schwinn, down on 112th and 28th in the Coove, behind the AMPM and across the street from the PUD substation. I understand he's been running the place solo since about the mid-60s.

Jim's helped me build my project bike I am currently working on (a.k.a. "Project Tallyhawk") for about $75 so far.

High-performance parts for really cheap, if you don't mind running used equipment on your bike. (But then, dings and scratches *do* lend a bike character......)

And of course, for walk-in service and adjustments to your equipment, that's always free!

No, I didn't. Way too modest for something like that!

(And probably, I would say, 8 times out of 10, when I am not racing, I usually ride solo!)
