stickers?

I've went down to Macadam and asked. Happened to be in the area, so it was no biggie. I see a fair number of radio stickers and I know not everybody does this, so where do they get them?

I've never seen them just sitting around.

I know that our stations take stickers to promotional appearances....That's how I always got them while growing up out in Gresham.

Some intern....unnammed....armed with a but load of stickers....went into local parking garages....then proceeded to apply them to all of the vehicles parked therein! Kind of like when you go to the Sea Lion Caves......when you come out you have a bumper sticker!

Hey it's an easy way, and just plain CHEAP, method of getting you name out in view! Just make sure that the person doing it is a young female as a dude if caught would probably get thumped on!

I'd return it to the station if it was xxx.x! I would make it the only station in PDX with a drive through window! Now they really could practice their "Do You Want Fries With That" speech LOL

If I caught ANYONE putting a sticker on my car...I'd murder them. However, a better idea for that would be to put an unapplied sticker under the windshield wiper. Then you aren't vandalizing and pissing people off...and they get a sticker.

I like that approach.

Ya....but then you would get a pissed off employee passing them out guled to the windshields instead.....CAN YOU SAY HATE MAIL at the station the next day! LOL

BTW Merkin.....The Sea Lion Caves sticker would cover up a few of them rust spots on the Pacer's bumper!!! LOL

Hey......know a place getting truckloads of Accadia's if interested! Mostly ones fullt loaded. Just don't get loaded then want to test drive one! LOL

Ya but I am not gonna drive to your station to pick up a sticker. Have interns leave stacks on Video and music store counters, Ticket sales boothes, movie theatres, etc etc.
But just remember and not hand them out at concert venue's. They are a natural to promote your station but drunks with sticker's...hmmmm...not good! Arena owners can get a little testy when they have to peel 2000 of your station's sticker's off of the wall's of their stadiums! Maybe even send you a bill for the removal! LOL

BTW...most stickers wind up on non moving objects. Want a thought on a better investment for that money.....give away those static window stickers you can put on the inside of the window. If I had one of those from my favorite station I would put it in the back window....but I refuse to glue any stickers on my back bumper!

Hell my rig is classified as a Truck so give me one that covers the whole back window and i'll advertise for you!!!! LOL Well not really but If I came into posession of a say....a large KGON static window decal I would fly it for ya!

Just call up the station and be very nice on the phone. Tell them how much you love their format. Tell them you listen to their station 24-7 and you were wondering how to get a bumper sticker for your car. They WILL tell you how. People like to get compliments. Works every time.

You can also go to the stations website and download any images or art work you can find. Then print your own bumper sticker.

As I said will not glue things that may damage the paint job. Would prefer a static cling inside window decal! I don't have the materials to make one o them!

If I caught a Z100 or jammin employee putting a sticker on the YUGO I would knock them out! They would be spending the night in the ER.

That's what I did for my KNRK sticker. The station lobby had the vinyl ones.

I remember years ago (early-mid 90s) as a kid I used to get stickers for K103 (static peel-off and later stick-on type), 1190, Z100 (the old, ballon-like yellow letters on blue back!) NRK and a couple others at the ticket counter at G.I. Joe's on Mill Plain. (I doubt Joe's even does that any more.....haven't seen any around there in quite a while.)

I even have a mid-90s "947NRK" sticker firmly affixed to the bottom of my old skateboard. (It's *mostly* still on there to this day!!)

I think I still might have some of those various stickers, unused, tucked wayfaraway at home somewhere............

Oh, one other thing--

yeah justin, I'd kill someone if they stuck a sticker onto my benz.

Even if it was a station I listen to....that stuff is just damaging. I'd beat someone with a large stick
