The best way to releive stress at work is to pull a really bad prank on a co-worker........it is such a stress relief to see someone else freak out when they think their hard drive has crashed and they have not backed it up for 3 months! When all you did was just unplug the monitor to the PC. HAHAHA

Aw cmon...it was hilarious when I downloaded and installed a BSOD (blue screen of death for non tech savy) wallpaper and then disabled mouse, keyboard, and hid the taskbar and desktop icons on someones PC........they freaked out!!!!

I'm only funning man....except for the BSOD....I actually did that...but I let him off the hook fairly quick. If you can't have a little fun at the place you spend 1/3 of your waking life then you in the wrong place man! He got a laugh out of it as well. Still waiting on the payback's though! I hope you guys know I am only kidding! ID theft as a bad problem and I kind of hate to kid about it. I would never do anything as devious and despicable as that! I may consider trying to crack the security of a person or a company of the owner/friend if asked but then I would only do that as a personal favor to someone I knew and even then not for free.

Hacking and ID theft is real serious problem and if we (the public) are not part of the cure then we are part of the problem. Everyone needs to make and take steps to ensure the safety of their computers. Observe best prictices and be a smart computer commuter on the information highway! GOD that was Korny! But seriously now I must side with you on the Identity Theft thing--I saw on channel 10 a few weeks ago, one of the new "electorate Science Programmes" called "22nd Century"--anyhoo on the one episode I believe OPB has ever aired (might there be more?) it spoke of something called the "World-Wide Mind" or "Whim".

(In case you saw, or didn't see the episode, it featured some British actor playing a holographic representation of Aldous Huxley on his "Brave New World", and also featured some guy talking from first-hand experience of Cochlear Implants.)

Supposedly the "Whim" involves connecting human minds with cybernetic technology to a neural-computer net somewhat resembling a pale imitation of today's Internet, only more...I dunnow..."accessible" if you get my drift.

You think ID theft is a problem on the computer Internet today? Imagine what it would be like 100 years from now, if somehow this "Whim" concept actually manages to catch on ("Ethics? What's ethics??")! "Personality Theft" would likely run rampant! (Great, like this world really needs 1,000 more Motozak's running amuck......)
