There is no shortage this morning of stupid people in full bloom. The headlines will speak for themselves.

If only ignorance was painful! (That phrase first spotted here on a post from Skep! --Love it!)

I would hope that never sees a ballot.

Missing, 2 of my favorite bumper stickers;

Stupidity Should Be Painful (Similar to Skep's above)

Stupid Kills....Just Not Often Enough

I firmly believe in both!

"Stupid is as Stupid does"

"The difference between stupid and ignorant is that ignorance can be overcome while Stupid people don't realize that they are ignorant."

"Man who go through turnstyle sideways going to Bangkok."

M. Almost peed myself, not kidding.

Great thread Deane!

Here's another genius who apparently did not need all those tax dollars to train herself for a career with NASA, but will getting more from us for her new pursuits:

So much for all that extensive psychological testing, eh?

Oh well, I guess the cell will be roomier than the space shuttle. Food's probably about the same...

Yeah, I can hear it now.

All the people that think the space program is a waste of money are going to use this as fuel to their fires.

One person screws up and the whole program should be canceled.

I was watching the news tonight and they had a NASA doctor (I think he was anyway, hard to pay attention to the TV and PC at the same time) and he suggested that there may be a medical reason for her drastic change.

Maybe, maybe not. We'll see.

She is so darling in an orange jumpsuit. I am glad she is gonna stick with that look.

"All the people that think the space program is a waste of money are going to use this as fuel to their fires."

All brevity aside, that is a genuine concern to anyone who finds the space program a valid investment. Count me among the many who still believe in the promise of NASA.

Littlesongs, I'm with you on that. In fact I'm all for increasing NASA's funding.

That being said, I think it's great that private industry is starting to get into it also.

More is better!

Tang! It's what the astronauts drink.

(Added Bonus: it's orange!)

If she goes to prison in Oregon, she'll probably also get Space Food Sticks that expired in 1973, since the prison food buyer and his Bro-in-law got them for 37 cents a pallet with free shipping. The boys also rec'd a new golf cart each for saving Pillsbury the disposal fee. Unfortunately, they may be eating them as well very soon.

No kidding! I knew a fellow who had been an inmate in the facility in Pendleton. More often than not, right before the prize cattle they had tended were to be sold, they were spirited away and replaced with some mighty sad animals.
