Ralph spurns all establishment candidates, so it's no suprise to see him diss Clinton - I'm sure he has similar words for McCain, Guiliani, etc. Ralph's candidacy has always been about shaking things up and shining the light on non-mainstream issues.

But even if Nader were to run, he would have minimal effect. Most of the Democratic fringe that swung to Nader in 2000 swung even less his way in 2004. It's a slow process, but the Democrats are learning that each vote counts. Actually, thanks to the Bush presidency, Democrats have coalesced in opposition to Republican rule to such a high degree as to make another Nader run all but irrelevant.

It would, however, be interesting to see if a Ross Perot-type candidate emerges from the right side to split *that* vote.

I'll bet this never happens. Sorry Herb, but those two combined would annoy a significant percentage of the population.

Combined they are unelectable!

Maybe so. But talk about bringing passionate true-believers together!

I mean there's something for everyone. The left, the right, minorities, neo-cons, anti-neo-cons.

Wow.

They'd get my vote...and a lot of press.

Nader detests neo-CONs more than he does Dems and Republicans.

What is a "neo-CON"?
Is that like a "neo-LIB"?
