NO PHONE CALLS or MP3 FILES WILL BE ACCEPTED...

because while we want you to view our websites, we don't want to bother with listening to YOUR STUFF on line. Funny how CC embraces the latest technology except when it comes to an email package.

How about this. hear a short demo first as applicant screening, then invite the few you like to submit a Full demo. My guess is for part time, they have their candidate already lined up.

Plus with everyone in market who were recently cut loose, there is plenty to choose........

For what it's worth, I think the no phone calls and mp3 files bit is probably just a screen to keep the numbers down to serious applicants.

Besides, how hard is it to just dump to tape / CD and mail?

Doing this does come with some bennies. You can include quality paper, custom print your CD to attract attention, send it priority mail, etc...

And e-mail with an attached mp3 file is just an e-mail with an attached mp3 file. Physical media does offer some additional communication.

What are they wasting their time with ads...John Williams is the perfect fit. They should slot him full time (mid days)...don't they voice track mid days??? Kiss (or Kisn) of death to radio. These guys are getting the highest spot rate in the city (bigger than TV)...and they don't go live 24/7. WAKE UP.

John Williams would be a perfect fit. I hope they gather enough resumes to make the playing field look fair and then grab him.
