Members of Van Halen used to own KXYQ (Q105) back in the early 90's. |

Q105 was strictly a financial investment for Van Halen. We did still play some of their older ballads like "Love Walks In" but that was only because it fit into the format of the time. It always seemed strange that Van Halen would own a Hot AC station. I only remember them stopping by the studios (in the US Bank Tower) a couple of times during their ownership. |

Which ownership decided to take Q105 in a more AC direction in the Spring of 1991? |

Daytona Group (before Van Halen) owned Q105 when it went AC. Q105 started to soften the music shortly after 101 changed to KUFO. |

Darktemper I am shocked and amazed that you have yet to comment on the Reunion Van Halen tour with Diamond Dave. |
