Got a good or just really awful bar you go to...let's hear it. Do they give you a little rum with your coke or do they give you a little coke with your rum? Who make's good really exotic concoction's and who can't even make a screwdriver? With this group I expect no bar to be left not mentioned! LOL Save for a few here and that's cool as well!

OH YAH....and most important is the bar maids......were be them nice looking gals?

Haven't stepped into a bar in...uh...lets see...ummm. 5,10,15,16...oh whatever....years.

Actually I am quite content if I never make my way to a bar again.

Anybody ever been to the Cascade Tavern on Mill Plain in Vancouver?

I see on their marquee lots of good blues bands listed, but I didn't want to go sit in a smokey bar.

Now that there is a smoking ban in WA, I've re-considered it, just haven't been.

Beano- Don't get me wrong I had my heyday. I used to be a club DJ for Black Angus in Beaverton and for the Red Lion in Longview, WA. Downed many a drink in those days. Some 18 yrs ago I found out I was allergic to alcohol. Sounds strange I know. So I went cold turkey and haven't missed it. One of my better decisions.

Skybill....

Cascade Tavern.....maybe not the greatest place in the world to tie one on at.....considering a Vancouver Police station HQ is right next door! Hell just walk out and skip the driving part and give your self up! They would be more than happy to give you a place to sleep it off!

Darktemper, Yep. I'm sure they would! They would love to lighten my already too thin wallet too!

Since my wife works for the Clark County Sheriff’s Dept, I’m sure that wouldn’t go over well!

Years ago (many years) I wouldn't have thought twice about going out and tying one on then driving home, in fact if I can remember correctly, I did. A LOT of times!

I can remember one time (I think) having to hang my head out the drivers window to make sure the yellow line was still on the left side of my van!

One glass of wine or a beer now and either the wife or my son (and soon my daughter) drives home.
