Pretty much... But it could read as Van Hagar, Sammy Halen, or just biggest Sammy fan! I think of Van Halen and tie that to David Lee Roth and I do love the older Van Halen so you were pretty close on that. The Sammy stuff is under the Van Halen name but The pipes are Sammy's! Great guitar from Eddie but if the pipes aint no fricckin good then you aint got squat! Just a modify to the biggest Sammy Hagar fan should do and I would be happy!

Justin - can we claim a tie on "coolest car"?? It's hard to top the ol' Shaggin' Wagon in the cool factor! (Though there ARE a lot less Yugos out there!)

You guys slay me. That's why I keep coming back, and probably why I'm #7. Sadly, I seriously had no idea. And DT, when you meet me, you'll change your tune about "class act" real fast... I'd like to add a few off the top of my head: "most well-read, well-informed, thought- provoking posters" (tie): Missing_KSKD Andrew 2 People I always look forward to reading (besides my obvious homey's) Fatboyroberts ChickenJugs Randy in Eugene Trixter RIP OK, and everybody else Most entertaining (and quick with the zingers): Sutton Brian Warner (Jeez, I miss you!) Copernicus Person I most admire for his beliefs and the proverbial calm in the storm, and a perfect US President: Chris Taylor Best new blood: Justin & DT People who do NOT post nearly often enough: Jeffrey Warner TDanner RadioWoman (There's lots more in this category!) I gotta sleep on this and include the rest of youz-all in your perfect categories...

Okay, here's my ballot: Missing, for advice regarding Linux (and in many ways as such, helping me get my IBM running again) Motozak, for possibly being the only one here who's back-flipped a mountain bike (anybody else done this?) Alfredo-T, for being well-experienced with old-skool Tube audio gear (and having one of those old-skool Muzak amps!) Merkin, for sense of humour

But we all remember that "parking lot" incident you confessed to! And I put the emphasis on "parking"...not that that was anything but legal, of course.

Merkin, thanks for the honor! And, yeah, I'll try and come in here more often. It's always entertaining. Also frustrating, irritating, irrational, infuriating, and sometimes, just nuts. Just like life.

Now where's that Dono? A few of us came over here after KINK (i.e. Dennis C.) was so infuriated and so sick of us that they permanently shut down the whole board. Dan kindly allowed us to come (and stay) here.

Just curious how Dennis C can try and shut this site down. If he can shut this site down than Dan Can shut the Kink Website down.

Sorry Buns, I wasn't clear, he completely shut down the KINK (his station's) board many years ago. I think they might still have a ticket exchange, but no forum to chat? He hated our suggestion that they stop playing "Tree Top Flyer" every other day. (Among other things)

Well, we've missed YOU, you big lug! (If you'd said Allison Janney, I'd have to hunt you down and hurt you. With Janet Reno and Adrienne Barbeau holding you down.)

Hey Merkin.... Know were this is a brand spanking new Acadia on the lot for sale. Pretty plain Jane model though...only SLE. No leather or heated seats and with dogs you want the leather for easier cleanup for sure. Only $33,000.00 MSRP! With T&L probably be $600.00 per month for 60 with no down. SLT loaded would put it about $40,000. To be honest with you the Envoy Denali has just as much room only no third row seating unless you get the XL. Mine is a 5 pass and the Acadia is an 8 pass. Both rows fold down for cargo room. The big diff is the V-6 variable valve timed engine that will get about 19 mixed city and hwy. My V-8 get 17 mixed city and hwy and I can pass when I need to no worries! Think if it were me I would go with the earlier Envoy (non-XL) if it has the room you need. there is a big difference in ride. The non XL rides like a caddy without the fins!
