I'm in the center of the aisle. I guess I'll wait for a thread with that title.

Running from the hard questions, eh?

We'll see how long your guys in congress can play the avoidance game.

Looks like it'll either be the 'cut and run,' manoevre, the 'head in the sand' fake or perhaps the classic democrat 'hand wring.'

At this pace, the only attacks liberals in congress will make are sure to be ad hominem.

Spin on.

Look.

I'VE been clear. No Iran nukes.

And 'progressives' on this board?

You guys get squishy.

Herb

P.S. Thanks for reminding me about the ham-fisted part.

Herb writes:

So you are agreeing with Howard Dean, then? And with most Democrats? Good for you, Herb! You're starting to sound like many of the Republicans in the Senate, who are falling in line behind the Democrats.

Stealth bombers will insure that if they do not stop production and let the UN inspecters in! One quiet clear night......they will hear the explosion before the bombers and by then they are tails to them on their way home! NO MUSS NO FUSS!
Negotiate first....and when all else fails let the hammer fall!

Edit Add:
Heck....we are there....let's just nip this thing in the butt once and for all......any of these *****istan countries want to take us on....go for it. Terrorism needs to stop once and for all! Send more troops. We are already deployed so heavily in that region....lets just take them all on at once and be through with it. Bump up the military at home as well.

The president has improved in the speech giving dept. He's also toned down that smirk. His accolades to the first female speaker of the house didn't seem faked. Three positive things right there.

Herb wasn't talking about the SOTU speech...but I thought Bush's delivery was slow and almost subdued, like he was almost reading it to get it over with. But I agree with you about his comments about Pelosi in the beginning.

Amus, he did get in the "hand wring" and "ad hominum" though!

But "running"? I'm not even breathing hard, Herbie.

When you start answering the questions given to you by the Liberals on this board then and ONLY then should you be asking them to answer YOURS.
You answer 1 of 100 if we are lucky...
Again YOUR way outweighs everyone else's.... Typical EXTREME RIGHT fascists Bible thumper....

Dark Temper is right.

We've got battle groups headed toward Iran now.

If Iran doesn't play nice regarding nukes, let's do what General George S. Patton proposed whilst we were still in europe and finish the job while we're there.

I"m sure you're only joking Darktemper, but John Kerry recently said that if you studied hard and paid attention, you could get a good job. If you didn't, you ended up in Iraq.

Needless to say the violent reaction from the military was predictable, along with the Republicans and many Democrats.

Insulting our military, even by accident, is not acceptable in this country anymore (that comment wasn't directed at you).
