As Mrs. Clinton would say: "Not so fast."

Hillary will have to politically survive the primary first.

Whilst attempting to hurdle over the likes of Sen. Edwards and a host of others...including Gov. Giuliani.

You think Rudy the Baby Killer can even get nominated over the opposition of the Christian Right? Doubt it. Even so, Rudy's only real political advantage at this point is that people seem to remember him as a hero of 9/11. But I think that luster has long since worn off, and in any campaign, he would get smeared pretty badly - just by his Republican opponents.

Anyway, I'm only predicting Hillary's victory because I know it drives you nuts. :-)

I suspect Hillary's camp is coming up with some of this stuff to try and get Obama reined in before he gets up any more steam.

I suspect in the climate we now are in, a person raised as a Muslim, and keeping it hidden, is probably not electable.

So from my viewpoint, I'm going to cheer Obama onward and hope he gets the Democratic nomination. Go Obama.

My dad is currently reading Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope." At this point he is leaning towards him from what he is reading.

Herb you cracked me up with your " President Hill...Hill..." If she is elected I'll buy you a beer, even though I don't drink. Somehow I'd feel you would need some company at that point.

"If she is elected I'll buy you a beer..."

You're too kind.

However, if Hillary became president, I'd need a pint of high quality stuff, like Stella Artois [Belgian beer]. ...and more than one!

One of the scariest things about Hillary is that while she's nowhere near as slick as Mr. Clinton, she is way smarter.

The words conniving, ice-cold, vicious and merciless come to mind. And those are her GOOD qualities.

I don't think you can actually fully trust any politician.

No matter who runs it will simply be choosing the lesser of 2 evils!

Hillary said today she wants to start a "conversation" with the electorate. OK, here's one:

Hillary: I'm running for President.

Me: I'm running too. As far away as possible.

BTW, anyone else notice that "Hillary cadence" in her speech. Condescending, annoying, and obviously coached.

I guess if you don't like a candidate, you're going to find that person annoying. What serious candidate for president isn't "coached" anymore? Karl Rove was the ultimate coach for Bush the Slower and look where it got him...

"But CONdi is the RIGHT choice for Herbaroni because she's on DUHbya's cabinet..."

Actually, if I was going to pick based on cabinet members, it would be people like James Baker, Jeanne Kirkpatrick, Chuck Colson, Henry the K and G. Gordon Liddy.

Now THAT would have been a cocktail party!

After 30 years as a Republican I finally changed my political affiliation to Independent. Looks like I did it just in time.
