Well.....My favorite FM station is KGON so here are a few song titles that I think describe the DJ's I listen to:

Iris Harrison: Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Gloria Johnson: Gold Dust Woman

Glynn Shannon: I’m Bad I’m Nationwide

Marty Party: Just What the Doctor Ordered

What are some of your favorite DJ's and a song title you think represents them? Besides yourself if you are one...!LOL

Yesterday Iris announced she was playing her theme song...

Fat bottom girls you make the rockin' world go round

I started laughing and thought "Right On, Sister!"

I also very much liked Tim Taylor and when I think about him I always think of "Eagles Fly" from the album "I Never Said Goodbye". In the process of the flip nobody there was given the opportunity to thank their listeners and say goodbye. That in my book is not right. I understand the need to cut the ties but those people could have eased the shock of it and would have been decent to let them have say the last week to say goodbye!
Anybody know what Tim is up to these days. Hope he stayed in radio.....he was an excellent on air personality....it's just to bad his morning show had to follow "Bob Rivers". He had to play "Get the audience back" all of the time.
All of the on air crew at Rock Hits were great and I hope they all wind up with great shows!

Yeah Im curious what Rock Hits could have had with a Live and Local morning show. Im guessing the numbers would have been A LOT BETTER!!! I think a morning show of any station can make or BREAK a station. Looks like Bob Rivers broke a station. I also enjoyed Rock hits and the great talent they had. Now we have this mess called Movin 1075.

No sense pondering on that one....it is over and gone. Sure wish it was still on air though. It don't matter though.....When I win powerball today I will start my own radio station and only hire people that want to have fun and do radio as it is supposed to be done.....or at least how I want it to be done....LOL! If you walk in the door with a suit and tie on.......don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out! Fun live programs, listener involvement, request lines, commercial free programs, jocks having input into there playlists, great giveaway's, more remote's if you want, if it's fun it's in! Of course this will require a longer digital delay and two fingers on the panic button though! LOL

Initial plan......no commercials....take the town by storm and rock in the ratings. Advertisers will knock on the door begging! Hell even if the show tanks with 205 million I guess I could just use it as a write-off and leave it on the air.

I know not a damn thing about radio except what I like to hear......so you guys will just have to run it how you want to....I don't care just have fun with it! What the HELL is program lock anyway???? Will we need it????
