But "IF" this happens we may only see 1 to 2 inches of accumulation above 500 to 1500 feet.

But "IF" the upper air pattern were to shift slightly we could get nothing or two feet of snow.

And finally "IF" the lower air trough shifts we could get freezing rain or just plain old rain.

"THIS" did not track as predicted so the snow will not stick on the valley floor.

"THIS" happened instead so we will likely just see rain today.

Two steps back.

But if "THIS" upper air pattern shifts slightly we could still see the temperatures drop and see some snow somewhere at the 500 to 1800 foot elevations.

Two steps towards camera.

But if "THIS" lower air trough moves slightly south we could get freezing snow or possible snowy rain!
