"IF" this happens then we could see snow to the valley floor But "IF" this happens we may only see 1 to 2 inches of accumulation above 500 to 1500 feet. But "IF" the upper air pattern were to shift slightly we could get nothing or two feet of snow. And finally "IF" the lower air trough shifts we could get freezing rain or just plain old rain. That is the Forcast for the Greater Portland Metro Area! Muck Raker Reporting! How'd I do guys....can I get a job in weather? I can do just as good as them thar guys and gals! Edit add: "IF" = SWAG

dark, you gotta learn how to do the "weather dance" as you do your delivery. watch clips of joe sotile, the master of the "weather dance" to learn the moves. one step sideways to the board then back, 2 steps towards the camera, then back, repeat.

"THIS" did not track as predicted so the snow will not stick on the valley floor. One step sideways. "THIS" happened instead so we will likely just see rain today. Two steps back. But if "THIS" upper air pattern shifts slightly we could still see the temperatures drop and see some snow somewhere at the 500 to 1800 foot elevations. Two steps towards camera. But if "THIS" lower air trough moves slightly south we could get freezing snow or possible snowy rain! Back to Center. Muck Maker reporting There "SKEP"....was that better??????

Yep, you got it down pat. Joe would be proud. I'd fill out a KGW application -- they're down one weatherman.

I could do that job easy.....whenever they ask what the weather is gonna be I will respond in the infamous words of Ardian Cronauer: "What's the weather like?" "You got a window.......Open it!" Badda Bing!!!!!

Or George Carlin: "Tonight's forecast: DARK. Continued dark, starting out the morning with widely scattered showers of light."
