The ad also forgot to state two important things!
Must have strong stomach, while listening to Movin for long periods of time may invoke nausea and vomiting.

Maybe with some live talent that actually has some idea of that audience and influence in it's programming it can improve. Maybe when Stacey is done with her leave she will be one of the live crew over there. Let them go live and then get some time into it. Even after that it is not my cup of coffee so I may just tune in occasionally to see how the live talent does. Anyway any comment's from me are discounted as I am way out of their demo anyway!

Was that Kevin Federline I heard On Movin the other day??Wouldn't surprise me if it was. They seem to know how to Really pick the goldies. Movin plays the same 10 songs day after day!! As far as repetition goes, they are worse than Top 40. If that station wants to improve they need to seriously do something with the music. Tone Loc ever 30 minutes?? Britney spears once an hour??

Hey Beano...you're a little off on that...

Britney played 11 times in the last seven days...about once every 15 hours...

Tone Loc played a bit more...every 8.8 hours...

Just FYI!

Rotations, rotations. For the listener who is there constantly, it is indeed irritating, but if a new format is to succeed, they need to push an extremely hot rotation to build cume listening. Nothing too unsual here...

Hey Paul Take your"Radio Etiquette handbook" that was published in 1960 and throw it out the window! Rules are meant to be broken. Charlie and all the Bob jack, joe, Stations are doing something different and it is WORKING!!

I agree with Paul...any format that is launched successfully is launched with a tight, proven song,format...Quite frankly in 1960 it wasn't done as well as today...Beano...if you don't like the format...don't listen...I think that if you will stop harping and wait until the numbers come out, you'll find that it will do ok...will it be a format that will last...probably not...would all disco all the time work...most likely for awhile...but after time it would burn too...For those of you who don't like the format...lighten up and don't listen if it bothers you that much.

I have to agree with Paul...every station I've programmed, and there have been four now, has seen significant ratings when we cut the playlist and tightened rotations.

Remember, the number of songs you play each week is an irrelevant number. What IS important is that EVERY song you play be one of the target listener's favorites.

Correct, Dexter. It's all about instant gratification for the listener.
