I'm not sure what I think on this just yet. The simple view is that it's just fine. Meat is meat, for example. However cloning is an iterative process with a lot of feedback that could introduce harmful things.

Ethically, I place this in line with Veal.

Anyhow, this might not devolve into Nixon --or maybe it will, but will yield some good discussion first!

Thoughts on potential commentary to the FDA?

Anyway...

I do not beleive in cloning quite yet. There are way to many margins for error and creating potentially deadly new strains of bacteria in the process. I also do not beleive in steroids for enhancing growth of animals for food. I raise my own cattle so I know what has gone into them and the result is a far superior cut of meat both in flavor and in knowing it is not full of artificial hormones and stuff!

No on cloning, hormones, and steroids!

Nixon would never look anyone in the eye. I'll be he would have made an excellent clone, don't you agree, Herb? I wish a Nixon clone would come back and kick little Georgie's ass.

I would indeed vote for Mr. Nixon over George Bush.

But please spare us Hillary.

Farmed Fish, Cloning, Hormones, Steroids, Chemicals, Preservatives, Red Dye #34565, additives, E coli, Salmonella, Botchulism!

We need to modify the old saying"What does not kill you makes you stronger"

TO:

"What does not kill you today......probably will tomorrow!"

Quit messing around with our FOOD! Ever here of growing things naturally! Been done a long, long time!
