C.S. Lewis was perhaps the greatest Christian writer of the mid-20th Century. In his book, "God in the Dock," he puts the issue of the truth of Christianity in this way: Christianity is a statement which, if false, is of no importance, and, if true, of infinite importance. The one thing it cannot be is moderately important. Merry Christmas to everyone at PdxRadio.com. Herb

In this time of political correctness and how people think and act about the holidays and such, I had someone come through the line at my store the other day that did something I thought was really tactful and appropriate. He simply asked my assistant manager what holiday she celebrated. She responded Christmas, he looked at her and smiled and said, "Merry Christmas!" He MADE SURE to not offend yet offer the appropriate holiday cheer. Very polite I thought.

Merry Christmas to all here at pdxradio.com. And by all, I mean everyone. Let's see if we can make 2007 a bit more civil on the old radio board, eh?
