The Spanish music is nice and loud.
It's nice to see other radio stations doing remotes here instead of Klyc! lol

Well, it's probably safe to say that the client knows it's market.

If I didn't pay taxes and relied on state-supplied services, I might also have that extra discretionary income for trendy clothing.

I can understand a person not knowing of a Spanish station if they don't speak the language.

Semoochie~

I don't speak Spanish (I understand just enough to make some sense of what is happening on Sabado Gigante, or InCogNito on Univision, with the closed captioned turned on) but I tend to listen to 1150 (Magia Solo Exitos - All Magic Hits, essentially....my spoken Spanish is *really* bad currently) and 1520 on my radio on the bike a LOT. Even more so than 910 or Charlie's (the latter of which I rarely, if ever listen to anyways.)

Something about the music seems to make a long, east vancouver summer afternoon shootin' the whoops or garage sale hopping more, I dunnow, lively.

Copernicus:

That's EXACTLY why I would be shopping there. I guess they are trendy because they carry brands popular with the "skater" crowd (of which I have ties to but am not officially part of, per se.)

When? Probably the time they started carrying those brands, I reckon........

I used to be very active in the skating community (I still have my board...slick deck with the OLD school indy trucks...the heavier ones that would last a decade or two, you can't find those anymore...)

But I'll only go there to get accessories like earrings or hats...or if I need a pair of sweats for 8$, since there isn't a Kmart in my hood.

Did anyone respond to the remote? Why kind of results did they get?

Hey Dean:
At McDonalds i met a person that said she was Business Manager at Kcyx before the Bahnsack takeover!
I told her we should start a commercial fm here, but we need some deep pockets!
She talked about accounts she set up for doing live remotes and station sponsored remotes!
I told her to visit this site and say hello!
I forgot her name already.

It would be difficult to drop an FM into McMinnville for the same reason Salem doesn't have one: It's too close to Portland.
