Let's look at some examples of when "Starring in your own commercial" was a really bad move! When a real actor should've been hired instead! One's that I really really detest are those of "Hillyer Mid City Ford"! The man is the most awful spokesman for any dealership I have ever seen! He talks with his hands and his ugly dog "Diesel" is a better actor that he is! Complete waste of advertising dollars....I change the channel when I see it!!!!! Credits: Inspiration credit to "Mikekolb" for his post in "Worst Pizza"! Also could not do this without all of those hideous wanna be actor's out there who do there companies damage by representing themselve's!!

Mattress World- "its not to late to sleep like a baby, Mattress world". The husband wife team are by far the most annoying, slobs I have ever seen in my life. Somebody please tell the husband to shave! That beard is nasty!

How about the guy hawking car stereos and such. I missed the name of the shop but they are out at 192nd and Stark. Every time he gets to the price his voice goes up about 3 octaves and 15 dB and it flashes to a color negative type picture! He should have either hired an actor or fired the producer/ad agency!

"And what about that car dealer with the kangaroo in his TV spots? What's up with that? Nice pouch, dude!" Historically, "lots of ill repute" (as my wife calls them) have probably put out the WORST ads in history. These sleazeballs will come up with ANY gimmick to push that wood-sided 1974 Ford Pinto off the lot. It doesn't matter the size of the market or the size of the ad budget, it's always this cheesy grainy commercial with some big-assed cowboy hat or something screaming at you. Yeah, that really makes me want to go buy a car from them!

Hey, I like the outrageous audio guy. Besides, it's been proven that the most annoying commercials are the ones people remember. I even like Hilyer Ford and the dog "Diesel".
