Im sorry but Katie Couric is the most wretched hack on the Television. I am so embarrased for her because she is such a dingbat. Have you seen "first looK' where they give you a behind the scenes look at CBS news? She is an emarrasment to the country and CBS news. I can't imagine she will be around much longer.

She probably will Mayonnaise, CBS threw a LOT of $$ her way to get her over there from NBC.

I agree with you though, she is unwatchable.

Can her and put Russ Mitchell in as the Anchor.

It was nice watching Russ this past week while she was off doing whatever she was doing.

Bob Scheiffer was still the way to go. Her promos looks like something for Entertainment Tonight.

Drudge reporting today that Couric is tanking big-time. Losing in New York & L.A. 2-1, Chicago & Philidelphia 3-1, and in a 52 market average, ABC has a 7.4 rating, NBC a 7.2 rating, and Couric at CBS 6.0.

I personally didn't care for her on Today, but can't stand her on CBS News. Sounds like a lot of others agree.

Couric is TOO nice, but don't count her out- just yet.

I guess what I mean, is that GOD FORBID we have a major attack, catastrophe, etc-- people will turn to the news and might find Couric as endearing as Cronkite- catch my drift?

If GOD FORBID we have a major attack, catastrophe, etc., she would be the last person I would want telling me about it. Just my opinion.

I find it more interesting that non-liberals are watching CBS . . . what gives?
