Buy some pre-bagged produce at Costco and you, too, can have your own horror story to tell.
(By your produce at Fred Meyer instead because, among other things, they have first dibs with the farmers.)

Glad you posted this Vgis. We eat a lot of grapes as snacks in our home theater where it is totally dark. Needless to say, the pre-washing process will now take on a new level of thoroughness.

I remember a kid brought a tarantuala in to "Show and Tell"; his dad worked in the produce department at Safeway and it came off the bananas. Pretty cool to a 3rd grader in Eugene!

With new EPA rules, their limited on which insecticides they can use on produce, and even a through washing, doesnt ensure some little critter isnt hiding.
