Saw this station mentioned in the November FMedia. At KLSP most of the DJ's are convicted murderers. It gives new meaning to the term "captive audience". KLSP Angola, Louisiana is the only licensed prison station in the nation. KLSP is on the air daily 6am to 2am and uses a Harris AirWave board, two CD players and other studio equipment. KLSP plays an eclectic mix of Bluegrass, Hip-Hop, Golden Oldies, Swamp Pop, Cajun R&R and a Muslim talk show. |
