Adelman, a former Reagan administration official and onetime member of the Iraq war brain trust, is only the latest voice from inside the Bush circle to speak out against the president or his policies. Heading into the final chapter of his presidency, fresh from the sting of a midterm election defeat, Bush finds himself with fewer and fewer friends. Some of the strongest supporters of the war have grown disenchanted, former insiders are registering public dissent and Republicans on Capitol Hill blame him for losing Congress.

-Even the neocons now see what an utter idiot Bush is. At what point will the losers that still support his pathetic excuse for a presidency see this?

No, it's a last-ditch effort to salvage what little is left of their own pathetic, so-called political careers.

Go ahead and brush it off, like you do everything else.

Why not just admit Bush is the most incompetent president in history? All his so-called close friends are starting to figure this out. Just imagine who else will come out swinging in the next two years?

Gore - Edwards?

Obama - Hilary?

Jeb - Santorum (Oooh that has a ring to it!)

It's gonna be an exciting '08, that's for sure!

Oops he did it again!

Big ass flip flop for McCain:

http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2006/11/19/115038/44

He's going for the base folks! IMHO, that means he is cooked in '08.

One closet whacko done. Many more to go!

"Why not just admit Bush is the most incompetent president in history?"

What does that say about Mr. Gore & Mr. Kerry?

Nice spin. But once more, you couldn't be more wrong.

Mr. Bush has a higher IQ and better grades than both of the losers.

Gore was not selected. Americans wanted a President, not a Resident. Been there, done that. Non starter.

We don't know if Kerry would have done the job because about 60K votes made the decision. Hardly a mandate for the Resident President.

You've got nothing but bitching.

Gore and Kerry aren't President, which make it hard to grade either of their incompetence. However, Bush IS the President, and we've seen over and over again his level of incompetence. We don't even need to look beyond Iraq or Katrina, which is sad, because there's so much more than that! His rating says it all, not to mention the nationwide BLOWOUT that occured earlier this month were Bush Republicans where removed from office all over the country.

Even Henry Kissenger, who has long been counselling Bush not to give up in Iraq without "Victory," has now conceded that "Victory in Iraq" is impossible:

Oh, I see.

Mr. Nixon is horrible, then you trot out his Secretary of State when you're feeling ham-fisted.

Which is it?

I didn't say Nixon was a horrible man, I said he paid hush money to the Watergate burglars and obstructed justice trying to derail the Watergate investigations. And he needlessly prolonged the Vietnam war, costing hundreds of thousands more people their lives. Nixon did do some good things, but his Watergate crimes certainly disqualify him from ever ranking high on any list of "best presidents." I think it's fair to say Nixon was a horrible president as a result of the bad things he did.

Hey, Adolf Hitler apparently he really loved dogs and children. He built the Autobahn system and funded the first Volkswagen. How could we say such a sweet, forward-thinking man is so horrible? I mean, so what about some of those other little things he did, eh Herb?

Nice spin, comparing Mr. Nixon to Hitler.

And leftists go nuts when Mr. Clinton is taken to task for what he actually did do.

Mr. Nixon was never even impeached like your guy.
Ham-fist that.

"Mr. Nixon was never even impeached like your guy."

I laugh every time I hear this claim. Yes, Nixon wasn't' impeached, but he did RESIGN IN DISGRACE before he could get impeached.

Someone please point out to me how getting impeached is worse than RESIGNING IN DISGRACE?

Clinton was impeached, he just didn't have enough votes in the Senate to remove him from office.

Nixon DID have enough votes in the Senate against him, before the hearings even started. Thus, he resigned.

It became clear that McCain is a closet wacko when he came up with the "compromise" on torture and habeas corpus that gave Bush most of what he wanted. I have little respect left for the man.
