Great photo. He could have been one of the leaders. Looks like he showed up to the prom without a date.

He still thinks he can run in 2008, but even the Dems don't like him, except for their own political purposes.

I wonder also if the Dems will even take him next time?

John Kerry would have been a far better president than the White House's current occupant. But, I will not be supporting him in 2008. His time has passed. As a few have pointed out: one of Kerry's biggest assets in 2004 was his "electability" (Dean just didn't seem to have the national security experience). Obviously that one didn't quite work out, even though Kerry came very, very close to winning in 2004 (65,000 voters in Ohio made the difference; had they voted Kerry and not Bush, Kerry would have won the election).

If by chance Kerry gets nominated again in 2008 I imagine I would support him, but I highly doubt that will happen. The Dems should have a good slate of candidates in 2008. John Edwards and Barak Obama are two good possibilities. Even Hillary would be preferred to Kerry at this point.

I'm still hung up on Hillary. She pulled 70% of the votes. She did this by dedicating herself to her job for 6 years to show those republicans upstate she was worthy of their support. She's the one I want. Somebody who is gonna jump into the details, study both sides of the issues and make phone calls before invading North Korea to rid them of Kim Song II.

The problem I have with Hillary is that she's too divisive, based on the fact that her last name is Clinton. Can you imagine the vitriol that will be aimed at her during an election? The other concern I have is the fact that she's a woman. Although I would cast my ballot for her if she were to run, I'm afraid there are many pigs out there that wouldn't, due solely to her being a woman. I'd prefer to see some new blood and new ideas, rather than continued recycling of old legacies. That's why I'm hoping Obama decides to run. He's young and more in tune to MY generation, and has minimal skeletons in his closet for the GOP smear machine to attack.

My best buds daughter (15) took an IQ test the other day and scored 122 compared to DUHbya with a HUGE 93 I'd take my buddies daughter as President right now.....

Kerry? No way. Bush is my man. Kerry had worse grades than Bush. I thank God we have Bush and not Kerry.

Obama / Edwards or Edwards / Obama would be a hot ticket, IMHO!

One message that came though this last election was the need for some new blood. We've got a lot of freshmen this time around. Tells me the same old same old in 08 would be the right thing to do.

Hilary would be a good leader, but I fear she is not that electable, plus she's been in it for a while. That's not a desirable thing right now --for me at least.

Kerry? Old news. If he's on the ticket, I'll support him over any GOP runner, but only if I have to.

Hillary scares me. The proverbial sheep in wolves clothing ... she is trying to come across as a moderate, who the heck is she kidding?

There are other Democrats I can embrace. She ain't one of them.

It's gonna be an exciting primary, that's for sure.

The Dems are gonna have lots of great people to choose from. Ideally we get it right this time!

Meanwhile, the GOP after having licked it's wounds and whipped the party back into line, will be offering.... Jeb! McCain. Can't wait to see those two fight it out over who gets to be the vice!

You won't be much of a Democrat if you do that
