I want to thank all who are veterans of our beloved country for their service. Especially those who served in Vietnam. When you came home some called you names and some directed their hate for the war toward you. I personally want to say welcome home and that though I was young at the time I understood that you were just serving our country and doing as you were told like a good soldier. If you feel the same let a vietnam veteran know that you appreciate him and welcome home. After the first Gulf War I know some felt like they were forgotten because many have told me that. As for me I call all Veterans I know and always thank them on Veterans day. I hope you would do the same. |

What's sad is that Veteran's Day seems to be, like so many other holidays, forgotten, looked over, ignored. |
