Does anyone know what's become of news/traffic dynamo Valerie Ring? I tried reaching her at Clear Channel and she's not there anymore.

Didn't CC just do a round of layoffs? I have noticed that Heidi Tauber is now doing double duty on Thom Hartmann's show on KPOJ doing not only news but now traffic as well. (Val Ring often did the traffic during that show.) I got the idea that CC got rid of some of the traffic people or maybe they just haven't replaced Val yet?

(Just speculating, I have no inside knowledge.)
