I appreciate how he just did what he does well until the end, keeping his illness private.

He didn't let it get him down.

Howard Stern was pretty upset about Bradley's passing. They, apparently, became quite friendly during the period of time that Bradley spent a few weeks interviewing Stern for 60 Minutes.

Stern, like most folks, had no clue Bradley was ill

They usually only count movie or TV personalities. That leaves the count at 1 for Jack Palance. If it were a hugely famous musician, they would be counted but I can't think of 1 who isn't also a TV or movie personality.

I didn't make the rules. This is just the way they do it. Journalists are usually not counted when they go in 3s. I think we had one awhile back where they went in 7s!

ed bradley WAS a personality. I can't think of a better definition of one. A radio and tv broadcaster, and a journalist. I don't know what "rules" you were taught semoochie but I was always told it was "famous" people from whatever walk of life. Either way, sometimes you have to stretch it but it is uncanny how it always happens.
Levert is probably the stretch here.

Gerald Levert was famous for his notoriously cheesy single "casanova"which came out in the late 80's.
Its so cheesy Im sure Movin will start playing it since their playlist consists of 80's and 90's Cheese!
