The results in Oregon, Washington and the nation go to show just how out of touch conservative talk show hosts truly are. Lars and Victoria need to get new lives because they are too far to the right for even Republicans.

I heard Lars played "There's Got To Be A Morning After" on his show as he wept.

True?

I dunno, but I am planning to listen to Lars today if I can, for the first time in years. I've already listened to Rush for the first time in ages - it's just wonderful to hear him try to accept defeat after all those years of gloating.

Lars is WAY OUT of the maistream, as is evidenced by the voters. But, it didn't take an election for me to see this.

I think the only thing Lars won on was measure 39. He lost on everything else!

I listened to him today via the Internet for the first time in a long time to hear how he took the losses, but he took a page out of Bush Jr.'s book and did not accept reality. A guy got into an argument with him about PERS and Lars kept interrupting him and then he and later listeners spent some time making jokes about the caller. Only fools call into that show.

Please stop saying Lars is a good guy. He isn't. He feels he needs to make a living. Back in 2000 he was having his hiney whipped by Rush in the morning. To combat this he changed his style and became a soldier in the talking points of the GOP. This has created the jerk he is today.

As others have said if Lars were to go back to the way he was when he did Northwest reports on KPTV he can be accepted back into the human race. Until then I feel no pity for him.

I can't wait for the hearings on the FCC that the Democrats will hold next year that will put Lars and his kind out of business.

Well, now that the Democrats control not only the Oregon House and Senate, they are getting control of the U.S. House and Senate.

That gives's Lars and Taft full employment for at least two more years.

Of course, though, as the voting results show, they don't have much of an audience to spout their hatred to. :-)

Actually, the Democrats winning big is the best thing that could happen to loud mouths like Lars, Rush and other conservative talkers. Now they will have some actual issues to rant about, instead just pounding their flabby chests. And jumping about like chimps with a flashlight.

Wannabe:
They will be finally seen as just entertainment, because it became obvious they were so out of touch with reality that they cannot be taken seriously.

Maybe they will become like Rush did today.

He apologized that he was just reading the talking points for the right wing since 1988. He then continued that he didn't believe what they had him say, and he wouldn't continue that activity.

That is code for " In 2009 when a new president comes in, the fairness doctrine will come back and I'll be out if a job, please help me people"

Well in the words of the average airline Stewardess "Bye Bye". Or a 2005 movie "Good Night, and Good Luck".
