Montrose and H.S.A.S.

I knew Montrose from memory, having
seen them in 1974.

H.S.A.S. [Sammy Hagar, Neal Schon from Journey and Santana, former Foghat bassist Kenny Aaronson and former Santana drummer Michael Shrieve.] I had to look up!

Bruce Springstein guitarist Nils Lofgren's first band was called what?

What is his Oregon connection?

Springsteen's first marriage was to an Oregon girl, from Lake Oswego. Some model/actress I can't remember, she was featured in a TV show "Sisters".

And that would be what? I've got lots of Nils stuff, and I don't think there is any Oregon connection.

Extra trivia; Nils brother was also in Grin.

Extra, extra Nils trivia; What drink was he chugging on the cover of his first solo album?

Nils has aunt, uncle, and cousins in Astoria.

His first solo album "Nils Lofgren" aka the fatman album

http://www.shinesilently.com/fatmanalbum.htm

I owned it but dumped all my vinyl years ago.
I think it's a Coke.

Springboy's first wife from L.O. was Julianne Phillips.

New Question:

Who is the only female pop vocalist to have solo top-10 hits in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's?

If nobody gets this by the time I retire tonight I will fill you in...

Andy, that's the album allright. I'm holding it in my hands now. I don't know much, but I do know my alcohol. That sure looks like a brandy bottle to me.

Anyway, I can't confirm your peach truck question, i know his motorcycle accident involved a truck, which he tried to avoid and caused the accident, but I don't know if it was a peach truck. That would make the "Eat A Peach" album title rather ironic.

Good one Casey (Paul Walker) Casem!
O.K. My best guess is Cher. No - wait she didn't go solo until probably 1973's tune Half-Breed. Allright... let's see.. how about Babs Streisand?

Ding, Ding, we have two winners. (Although, Dan you can't change your answer...wait a minute...you can do anything you want!). The answer is indeed Cher. "Bang Bang" was her notable hit in the 60's, far too many to mention in the 70's and 80's, and "Just Like Jesse James" in the early 90's.
