The only thing more remarkable to me than Google's adherence to its principles, is the vision and ambition of its management. Wow. I've wondered when their ad-matching technology would come to radio. Quicker than I thought!

Yep, Google is amazing. Wired did an article on them a while back. Page and Brin, think really big. A good example is their view of the moon as the perfect data center! No need for cooling, solar power, stability... It's crazy, but makes perfect sense once you think about it. Their internal work structure is just as interesting. Everybody is in small teams, doing things they believe will benefit us and Google. Projects are examined on a regular basis, guidence and funding is provided according to progress and goals and relevance. Every quarter, each and every project that launches gets a little show internally and the team is recognized. Then they move on to something else, or continue to improve their projects. More Phd's in the building than anywhere else.

>>I've wondered when their ad-matching technology would come to radio. Quicker than I thought!<< In a way, it's been here for a while already. Some time ago Google bought dMarc, who has a product called Revenue Suite that swallows up unsold avails at participating stations. This new sales effort is building on that.
