The Seattle's Movin radio station is owned by another company than Portland's Movin 107.5. KVMX-FM is owned by CBS Radio!

Hopefully she will play some better music.... The station is a mess....
How is Prince "Let's go Crazy" RHY/AC???

Trixter, Prince "Let's Go Crazy" was a big Pop hit in 1984. Also, it was a R&B hit as well. Some Hot AC stations (depending on how many hot AC stations still play 80s music) and even some mainstream AC stations do play Prince music. Don't be surprise if you hear Prince again on Movin.

I think Movin' 107.5 is OK, but how can you mix the Pussycat Dolls with KC and the Sunshine Band on one radio station? If you look at the success of 97.1 Charlie FM and their adult hits format, can rhythmic AC formats work?

Im glad they are playing 70's music mixed in with the newer stuff. Im hoping they will continue to play more of the 70's funk like George clinton ect. This format could be really interesting if they broaden the playlist.
I also hope the music improves because listening to Britney Spears and Paula Abduel is audio Torture!

It's not my format, but I'm thinking if you don't like Britney Spears, you probably don't like Mooovin.

It's pop groove candy, and that's what she does. But then again, it wouldn't be the first time where a format programs out an artist because of "audience perception" versus the artist's actual sound.

Its absoulte CRAPOLA! IM in the demo and I don't know of any woman who wants to listen to Crap like Britney Spears, Paula Abduel. Trust me, we have much better taste in music than that. Movin will never last with this pathetic playlist!
