Text of above post: Dave Numme, currently OM/PD of CBS Radio active rock KUFO/Portland, Ore., and VP of alternative and active rock for the company, transfers down I-5 to San Francisco as PD of CBS Radio alternative KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco. He will retain his companywide duties for CBS Radio. Numme, who has programmed KUFO since 1991, replaces Sean Demery, who left in September to anchor the morning show at Cumulus alternative WNNX (99X)/Atlanta. Numme worked in the Bay Area in the '80s at KRQR/San Francisco (now KLLC) and as MD of KSJO/San Jose. He's also been MD of KGON/Portland, Ore., and programmed KFXX/Portland, Ore. "I'm really excited to be working with him, and I think he's going to be a great fit for us," Live 105 GM Steve DiNardo tells R&R.

"He will retain his companywide duties for CBS Radio." What duties are these? Will he continue to program 'UFO from the Bay area? Somebody else needs to take over that station.
