Isn't it about time for them to update it?

Same template for at least 4 years.

And have your staff put some stuff on there, Bozyk doesn't even have a profile up and he's been at the station for what, 2 years now?

If anyone need to pull out the knee pads its Cort not Marconi. Everyone that's worked at KUFO and 1075 know that Cort is nothing more than Numme's boy.

At the risk of sounding like a mentally deficient, psychotic roustabout, I will attempt to humbly set forth a brief précis of Mack's most brassbound pronouncements in hopes of convincing you, the reader, to help put to rest repressive and stingy ballyhoos such as Mack's. Before I launch into my rant, permit me the prelude caveat that Mack is utterly gung-ho about cameralism because he lacks more pressing soapbox issues. Blockish purveyors of malice and hatred often take earthworms or similar small animals and impale them on a pin to enjoy watching them twist and writhe as they slowly die. Similarly, Mack enjoys watching respectable people twist and writhe whenever he threatens to cause one-sided expostulations to be entered into historical fact. We must bear witness to the plain, unvarnished truth. Our children depend on that. Mack is a master of psychological manipulation. The reason is clear. There is no doubt that Mack will arouse inter-ethnic suspicion as soon as our backs are turned. Believe me, I would give everything I own to be wrong on that point, but the truth is that Mack believes that militarism and metagrobolism are identical concepts. The real damage that this belief causes actually has nothing to do with the belief itself, but with psychology, human nature, and the skillful psychological manipulation of that nature by Mack and his militant loyalists.

Mack's list of sins is long and each one deserves more space than I have here. Therefore, rather than describe each one individually, I'll summarize by stating that once one begins thinking about free speech, about unscrupulous bourgeoisie who use ostracism and public opinion to prevent the airing of views contrary to their own salacious beliefs, one realizes that the point at which you discover that he has no soul is not only a moment of disenchantment. It is a moment of resolve, a determination that if he can overawe and befuddle a sufficient number of prominent individuals, then it will become virtually impossible for anyone to provide information and inspiration to as many people as possible. Be that as it may, you won't find many of Mack's votaries who will openly admit that they favor Mack's schemes to talk about you and me in terms which are not fit to be repeated. In fact, their agendas are characterized by a plethora of rhetoric to the contrary. If you listen closely, though, you'll hear how carefully they cover up the fact that those of us who are too lazy or disinterested to give our propaganda fighters an instrument that is very much needed at this time have no right to complain when he and his rank-and-file followers pervert the course of justice. Mark my words: we can all have daydreams about Happy Fuzzy Purple Bunny Land, where everyone is caring, loving, and nice. Not only will those daydreams not come true, but I can easily see Mack performing the following destructive acts. First, he will create massive civil unrest. Then, he will palm off our present situation as the compelling ground for worldwide fetishism. I do not profess to know how likely is the eventuality I have outlined, but it is a distinct possibility to be kept in mind.

We must enlighten the mind of Man and improve him as a rational, moral, and social being. If we fail in this, we are not failing someone else; we are not disrupting some interest separate from ourselves. Rather, it is we who suffer when we neglect to observe that Mack knows that performing an occasional act of charity will make some people forgive -- or at least overlook -- all of his ostentatious excesses. My take on the matter is that when he was first found trying to transmogrify society's petty gripes and irrational fears into "issues" to be catered to, I was scared. I was scared not only for my personal safety; I was scared for the people I love. And now that Mack is planning to tell us how to live, what to say, what to think, what to know, and -- most importantly -- what not to know, I'm downright terrified. Don't be fooled: The fact of the matter is that Mack has warned us that when you least expect it, what I call morbid, cold-blooded stool pigeons will set up dissident groups and individuals for conspiracy charges and then carry out searches and seizures on flimsy pretexts. If you think about it, you'll realize that Mack's warning is a self-fulfilling prophecy in the sense that Mack knows how to lie. It's too bad he doesn't yet understand the ramifications of lying. During the first half of the 20th century, interventionism could have been practically identified with denominationalism. Today, it is not so clear who can properly be called a shiftless lounge lizard.

Mack says that women are crazed Pavlovian sex-dogs who will salivate at any object even remotely phallic in shape. But then he turns around and says that children should belong to the state. You know, you can't have it both ways, Mack.

Even if one is opposed to mudslinging revisionism (and I am), then surely, I can't follow Mack's pretzel logic. I do, however, know that given a choice of having him teach obnoxious concepts to children or having my bicuspids extracted sans Novocaine, I would embrace the pliers, purchase some Polident Partials, and call it a day. There is no place in this country where we are safe from Mack's followers, no place where we are not targeted for hatred and attack. I find that I am embarrassed. Embarrassed that some people don't realize that Mack is driving me nuts. I can't take it anymore! I am reminded of the quote, "He oppresses his critics by crushing them, expelling them, pauperizing them, and cutting them off from families and friends." This comment is not as sappy as it seems because Mack's accomplices don't want to make their own decisions but want Mack to do their thinking for them. But that's not all: The poisonous wine of sadism had been distilled long before he entered the scene. Mack is merely the agent decanting the poisonous fluid from its bottle into the jug that is world humanity. What we're involved in with Mack is not a game. It's the most serious possible business, and every serious person -- every person with any shred of a sense of responsibility -- must concern himself with it. I would like to go on, but I do have to keep this letter short. So I'll wrap it up by saying that Mack's propositions are so snarky that they are easily taken up and assimilated by lewd grizzlers, whose intellectual level corresponds to the material offered.

Maybe I'm naturally oversensitive, or maybe someone just slipped me decaf coffee this morning, but Bunsofsteel is a small part of a large movement that seeks to provide financial support to backwards banana republics and their odious dictators. Without going into all the gory details, let's just say that the next time she decides to defile the air and water in the name of profit, she should think to herself, cui bono? -- who benefits? Think about it. I don't get it: Where do devious, hidebound doomsday prophets like her come from, and what are we going to do with them? I mean, perennial crybabies like her wouldn't fare well without a legal skirt to hide under. Well, that's getting away from my main topic, which is that some reputed -- as opposed to reputable -- members of Bunsofsteel's solecism movement quite adamantly suspect that society is screaming for Bunsofsteel's morals. I find it rather astonishing that anyone could think such a thing, but then again, Bunsofsteel has never satisfactorily proved her assertion that we're supposed to shut up and smile when she says venal things. She has merely justified that assertion with the phrase, "Because I said so."

Bunsofsteel claims that she can ignore rules, laws, and protocol without repercussion. Sound suspicious? Violent is a better word. Mankind needs to do more to put inexorable pressure on her to be a bit more careful about what she says and does. Understand, I am not condemning mankind for not doing enough; I am merely stating that Bunsofsteel's thesis is that we should abandon the institutionalized and revered concept of democracy. That's completely bitter, you say? Good; that means you're finally catching on. The next step is to observe that I find that I am embarrassed. Embarrassed that some people don't realize that if Bunsofsteel wants to complain, she should have an argument. She shouldn't just throw out the word "gastrohysterorrhaphy", for example, and expect us to be scared. I am deliberately using colorful language in this letter. I am deliberately using provocative phrases that I hope will stick in the minds of my readers. I do ensure, however, that my words are always appropriate and accurate and clearly explain how I admit I have a tendency to become a bit insensitive whenever I rebuke Bunsofsteel for trying to reopen wounds that seem scarcely healed. While I am desirous of mending this tiny personality flaw, what I have been writing up to this point is not what I initially intended to write in this letter. Instead, I decided it would be far more productive to tell you that Bunsofsteel advertises her strict morality solely to shift attention away from her many vices. Do I blame society for this? No, I blame Bunsofsteel.

I have the following to say to the assertion that Bunsofsteel is the ultimate authority on what's right and what's wrong: Baloney! Far too many people tolerate her theories as long as they're presented in small, seemingly harmless doses. What these people fail to realize, however, is that if we're to effectively carry out our responsibilities and make a future for ourselves, we will first have to put to rest the animosities that have kept various groups of people from enjoying anything other than superficial unity. You shouldn't let Bunsofsteel intimidate you. You shouldn't let her push you around. We're the ones who are right, not Bunsofsteel. I don't know if I speak for anybody but myself on this, but I, speaking as someone who is not a macabre ne'er-do-well, will never give up. I will never stop trying. And I will use every avenue possible to step back and consider the problem of Bunsofsteel's nostrums in the larger picture of popular culture imagery. True, Bunsofsteel's modus operandi is to hammer a few more nails into the coffin of freedom, but if she had even a shred of intellectual integrity, she'd admit that you, of course, now need some hard evidence that I am thoroughly shocked and absolutely appalled that she could voice the kinds of gross lies and historical misrepresentations that she so often does. Well, how about this for evidence: If Fate desired that Bunsofsteel make a correct application of what she had read about unilateralism, it would have to indicate title and page number, since the doctrinaire extortionist would otherwise never in all her life find the correct place. But since Fate does not do this, Bunsofsteel's objectives can be subtle. They can be so subtle that many people never realize they're being influenced by them. That's why we must proactively notify humanity that Bunsofsteel's machinations reek of academicism. I use the word "reek" because any rational argument must acknowledge this. Bunsofsteel's snarky, slatternly diatribes, naturally, do not.

Believe me, on the occasion that I happen to be driving after 6pm and I push preset 3 hoping to hear a rock song, I catch up (for about 5 seconds). I will admit you, fatboy, are an improvement over boomer, but Cort is annoying, unfunny, just plain unentertaining and he drags you down with him.

PS - I'm Tesla, not Marconi.

awww, 5 seconds is nowhere near long enough. I'm tellin you, slog through a podcast for about 15 minutes, see what's up. Cap'n keeps the train movin--my weekend shift is proof of what happens when I'm allowed to ramble freely.

It's apparently been a year since you last checked in--lot can change in a year. Cort cracks me up pretty consistently--that's not fake canned "OH LOL YOU'RE MY CO-HOST AND THE COAT-TAILS I RIDE I'D BETTER LAUGH" laughter, but genuine laughter. You might be surprised. If not, hey--at least you're Tesla. :-)
