Thanks for posting this. It should be interesting hearing George in the KEX studios. I don't think Art Bell ever broadcast from the studios when he was in Portland, during his first ever book signing back in the 90's.

Well! Did anyone see George Noory & Powell's Books? If so, report on how it went. Was there a big crowd? How long did you have to wait? Any parking problems?

Just had a change to read the WW interview with George posted above. As of this writing, there are now 27 posted messages left for George and anyone to read below the the article.

I went to Powell's Books, but the area where he was speaking filled to its legal maximum occupancy of 300 people, and thus I was not allowed in. From what I overheard, I think that the only way to be guaranteed entry was to be on the guest list.

Since I was at Powell's, I picked up a used copy of _Murrow:_His_Life_and_Times_ for $6.50, so the trip wasn't completely wasted.
