So don't travel in planes or trains, eh, Joe?

Somehow I don't think Joe Biden will be on the ticket in 2012 when Obama runs for re-election.

Biden sticks his foot in his mouth often, but many times he just says what most people are already thinking.

I don't know Andrew. Dan Quayle stuck his foot in his mouth early and often and Bush the First ran for re-election in 199.........never mind, I see your point.

No one but George H. W. Bush will ever understand why George H. W. Bush selected Quayle to be his running mate in 1988. He added absolutely nothing to Bush. In 1992 there was some movement to dump Quayle, but at least then you could argue it looked opportunistic to dump him.

By contrast, everyone saw why Obama chose Biden in 2008. But after four years of being president, by 2012 Obama certainly won't need Biden as VP anymore to reassure voters worried about an inexperienced young president. Plus Biden will be getting up there in years by 2016. Maybe he'll pick Hillary in 2012, which would anoint her as his successor in 2016.

I don't see this as a gaffe by any means. What he said is basically true and decent advice.

Not a big deal in my opinion. However, it is quite possible that Obama will pick someone who is younger to be his VP that able to win the General in 2016. Biden will be too old then.

I like Biden.

IMHO, this is no big gaffe. Some are making a big deal out of it though.

I like Biden too. But this was an incredibly stupid thing to say, even if he privately believed it. I think that's his thing: he says what's on his mind and forgets how his words might influence millions of people.

I tend to like Biden better than I used to. We've learned much more about him. He sort of tells it like it is, something most of the DC phonies don't do.

Quick Question.

Can somebody tell me if my girlfriend has Swine Flu?

Last night she was snoring really loudly, and when i tried waking her up, she made these "Snorts" pig like sounds. I was scared to turn on the lights, I thought I might find a "Sow" sleeping right next to me, instead of the girlfriend.

Yeah, Biden said it. How many people would have known about it if the MSM is not shouting it from the highest hills. If people are not using mass transit, it's the MSM's fault not Biden, IMO.

Edit: I forgot to say that the conservatives will still keep whining the media is liberal.

Lets give Biden a bit of credit for being an expert on travelling in trains. He may know a few things that you or I don't, although Andrew is an expert train rider himself. Right?

I have decided for myself, at the moment, that I disagree with Joe Biden on this.

He is rather entertaining without meaning to be though.

Speaking of putting foot in mouth, while extremists such as Hannity are leading their show with the Biden gaffe (even thought I don't think that's so) there's a Republican Representative from North Carolina claiming that the murder of Matthew Shepherd was not a hate crime, rather, it was a "hoax".
