I payed $14,329 to the feds this year and $3,001 to Oregon and I'm NOT bitchin'...
90% is a little steep but DUHbya and the DICKster should have to pay back the BILLIONS and TRILLIONS that Iraq is going to cost us until the end of time. ALONG with all our troops that have died!

You know, its funny, but pocketbook-wise the filthy rich took a pretty big hit during the Bush administration.
The ones that got hit the least were retired union workers. Bush couldn't hurt them (but he sure would have liked to being the anti-union a$$hole that he was).
If no one has figured this out yet, by and large most union retirement fund are held in a trust -- neither the company or the union can touch the funds -- even if the company goes bankrupt or union de-certified.
So, those of you in the unemployment line, think about this and plan your career accordingly when the economy picks up. A "company pension" means absolutely zip because its a gamble that they'll survive, especially AFTER you retire. There are only so many walmart greeter jobs you know.
