You might have heard that conservatives are holding teabag parties across the country, and calling on their supporters to send teabags to Washington, to protest Obama's stimulus spending. Well, as Andy Cobb points out in this not-safe-for-work PG-17 video, the conservatives may have bitten off more than they can chew with their new, unfortunate, metaphor. :-)

This is hilarious!

Tells me a whole lot of conservatives are clueless in this respect! Been watching some of the headlines thinking, "WTF?"

Yuck! I had heard of tax day "tea parties" but not of teabagging parties. There is a tea party planned to take place in Beaverton, but as far as I am aware, all that it will involve is a march and picket. Sending out tea bags in protest is news to me.

If we reaaly wanted to let them know how we felt, we should ship truckloads of condoms to DC.

There's going to be a big "tea party" rally on the Oregon State Capital steps next Wed at noon.
Expect a large crowd.

If they want a really big rally, they should get President Obama to attend.

Excellent!

We will have a "large" crowd of teabaggers in Salem! Great photo OP.

Be sure and make some really big signs, so the newspaper photos play out well.

You don't have to drive all the way to Salem; there is a Tea Party going on in Pioneer Courthouse Square at 6:00 PM on Tax Day. Many cities in Oregon will have these pickets: http://taxdayteaparty.com/teaparty/oregon/

Get your party on!
