The Post details how naive his grasp of foreign policy is. What happened to his campaign promise to have a plan to capture Bin Laden.

Funny how that all slips away when he gets elected.

"The New York Post

Since 1993, it has been owned by media mogul Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation

'Nuff said.

I notice there is no challenge to the statements, however. Only trying to demean Rupert Murdock.

Of course we know Rupert isn't as smart as you. Heck, if I were him, I wouldn't want my financial statement reflecting my achievements compared with yours Amus.

Yawn....

You regurgitate so much Bullshit it's not worth the time it takes research it.

With your track record, it's a pretty good bet it's crap anyway.

" I notice there is no challenge to the statements "

I notice that too. What are we going to do about, for or with this?

The NY Post is an extension of Fox News, which is an extension of the GOP. Going to the NY Post for an opinion on Obama is like going to Keith Olbermann for an opinion on George Bush.

He doesn't have a plan to capture Bin Laden YET.

Or, he does have one, and it's not public at this time.

Or, there isn't a plan.

Truth is, we don't know. There is a strong case for not knowing, isn't there? Seems to me the last administration called that one into play many, many times.

It might also be that a plan is being realized, but some elements are required that have not been aquired yet (intelligence), or that have not taken place. (established people and means to support the method)

Crap article.

IMHO, this is the easiest thing to do about it. Demonstrate that it's crap, and highlight that Murdock publishes a lot of crap, and that his organizations do not generally adhere to acceptable standards of clarity where differentiating fact and opinion are concerned.

Oh, and Deane one's bank account is no measure of either their character or overall smarts. Let's just take that one off the table, huh?

Notice how Deane's post really has little substance to it? Of course, if there is such a plan it certainly isn't going to be broadcast. Not to mention all the work that's been accomplished in two months after 8 years of no accomplishments.

When are you guys going to learn that Deane is only here to get your goat? The day I see his posts go unanswered and quickly sink in the list is the day I know everyone has realized he isn't here for discussion on level terms. He's truly a troll in every sense of the word. Worse, he's become a parrot of the right wing news agencies. Obama's administration is still in the first inning and the right is calling for a pitching change, a coaching change, and team relocation. Long ago I realized how uninformative and droll Deane's posts are. My mission now is to get everyone to ignore them altogether. Interestingly enough, to date, it's not the more conservative amongst us that constantly reply to his inanity. If that was the case, the posts would become a conversation between maybe 3 posters. Someone tell me why you still pay attention to his crap?

"Notice how Deane's post really has little substance to it?"

Notice how Andy seems to have insufficient substance to come up with more than one post that he has to use over and over again.

The reason there is a bit of tension with my posts these days is that Obama's white cane followers are just beginning to realize they may not have gotten what they thought they were getting. When they see some of this stuff in print, it adds to the destruction of their fantasy and it hurts.

Actually, that's all in your head.

Most people see your verbal diarrhea for what it is; namely, ramblings from a pissed off, identity challenged Republican.

You and the other 23 percenters have absolutely nothing else to do Deane. Can't blame you for that. Nobody that matters wants anything to do with your tired, not wired platform.

The New American Century didn't happen. Won't happen.

Now it's somebody else's call.

What people are gonna do is give the Obama administration the same deference you clowns asked for during the ENTIRE Bush administration.

Hell, it's not even been 100 days yet. Do you really want to marginalize yourself so early?

There could be nearly 8 years of running time?

Don't take yourself out of the game now Deane!

Hold back, build your case, post up something solid instead of rantings!

I know you can do it, the question is whether or not you want to.

Maybe it's just easier to Bash and Dash™.

I don't know anybody that was in favor of Obama who feels they didn't get what they voted for.

Just another right wing fantasy by blowhard talk radio losers.

Yep. It's pretty hard to see this stuff, when the actions we are seeing right now are basically what most people asked for.

Obama is doing exactly what he said he would. That is what is supposed to happen when somebody gets elected. That it so often doesn't is probably the surprise now that Obama is doing what he promised to do.

Not getting what I wanted from President Obama? On what front? He's taken tangible steps on both ending the war in Iraq and taking appropriate steps to deal with the Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan. He's working on major health care reforms with the goal of passing major legislation by Labor Day. He’s held two “Prime Time” news conferences, not some last minute press event scheduled for 7am in the morning Pacific Time. He’s laid out a path for clearing out the toxic asset problem in the banking sector. He’s proposing major reforms of the financial services sector. He understands and is very upfront about education reform – and in a very tangible way. He was able to pass his stimulus package in a matter of weeks following his inauguration. He’s asked very competent individuals to deal with the very complex issues in places like the Middle East and Pakistan.

Buyer’s remorse? I don’t see it. He’s doing what he said he would do. Plus he’s done something very unlawyerlike – he’s made it ABUNDANTLY clear that the path forward is not always perfect. Politics is not a perfect science. Overall, he’s doing a very good job.
