I meant bonds tied exclusively to this "EXTRA SPENDING", similar to WWII War bonds. When the Auto loans and bank bailout money is repaid, the bonds are RETIRED. |

Not to burst your bubble Roger, but a check on the latest rates for savings bond shows .7% interest rate for series I bonds, and series EE bonds paying out 1.3% as of today. Or, are we talking about something else? |
