In my opinion, Musically KUFO has turned into one of the greatest rock stations in the country, HANDS DOWN!!! The variety of rock is so damn good, I can't believe it! I just wanted to post and say Nice Job to Chris Patyk on the music because he is doing an awesome job with the music! This is the first time in a LONG time that I actually enjoy listening to KUFO! Everything from Motley Crue To Muse, to Rise Against to Judas Priest. F'ing Awesome! And I used to think Kfly had one of the best playlists in the country! Not any more!

Its too bad KUFo is up for sale because I'm really enjoying the music. I hope whoever buys KUFO is smart enough to Keep Patick around because he is doing a great job.

Hey Fever you're right, I have posted on this topic in the last few months. I just can't get over how good the music is on Kufo!
The best thing that ever happend to Kufo was getting rid of Dave nummee. That guy was so conservative with the music selections.5 years ago I NEVER listend to KUFO because the music SUCKED, they had a very tight playlist that consisted of crappy songs.
when it comes to rock, I like a little of everything, im glad you can hear the Pixies and Iron Maiden in the same hour.

And yes Johnny, I also agree with you, Bozyk needs to come back to mid-days. Bozyk talked about the bands and made the show interesting, I don't hear any of that with the new guy.

Have KUFO become more of "Active Rock" format than "Mainstream Rock" format? I don't live in Portland so I don't know.

I agree, and thats a good thing. If Dave Numme was still at Kufo, Im betting the format would consist of KORN, Slipknot, and TOOL.(And thats about it!)
I don't know about you, but those bands are not on the top of my list.(And I'm in the kufo demo) If you look back at kufo 5-6 years ago, thats pretty much what the format consisted of. Kufo has gone more mainstream with the music. Its definetly a lot more listenable this way. The format has evolved quite a bit,, and I'm sure enjoying it.

Now if they'd just get rid of wart and doucheboy, the station would be top-notch.

So,am I the only one who's noticed that KUFO's audio is randomly dropping out for about a second at a time? It just did it about 6 times in a row.

I keep thinking my antenna is flaking out,but the signal strength is pegged,it's just a dead carrier for a second or so...what gives?

Yup I noticed it a lot last night. A few times the songs would completely stop!

Engineers at CBS might want to fix the problem!
