Littlesongs My early musical heroes are dying in droves. Part of the aging process and possibly to hard living in their earlier days. It does and will catch up with you. The imprint from all these musicians, in their own unique way, will have a lasting impression. We noted on our morning show the passing for Freddie Hubbard, whose music I came to know in my college days at my campus radio station. We had Sunday night programing of jazz and Freddie was one of our core artists. As a keyboard player Billy Powell holds a special place for me. Keyboard players don't always get the limelight but they are essential to many great songs and along with drums and bass, give those celebrated guitarists the groove they need to do to their thang!! Thanks for posting this info.
