As much as I dislike Hillary, someone needs to smack Senator John Cornyn upside the head with a boat paddle.

The wonder witch needs to be confirmed as Secretary of State.

That way we don't have to worry about her running again in 2012. She wouldn't run against her boss.

And unless Obama screws up royally, the incumbent always gets the party nod for a 2nd term.

The office of the senator that blocked the voice vote approving Hillary said that he wasn't OPPOSED to Hillary being the Secretary of State, just that he had questions about Bill's donations for his foundation from foreign governments, and that he wants clarification and to make sure that they won't happen if Hillary is Sec. of State.

That does seem like a valid request; I could see where that is a conflict of interest. I honestly don't have a problem with this. She's going to get approved people ...
