OK. We've had "Your Favorite Song", "Your Least Favorite Song", "Your Favorite Band", "Your Least Favorite Band" and so on and so on threads.

I was listening to my Sirius radio today and heard a song and it made me think that we should have a "Weirdest Song" thread.

Here's my first submission;

J. Giles Band: "No Anchovies Please"

I remember hearing this "song," over 20 years ago, on the Dr. Demento Show. In my recollection, it was a spoken-word piece.

Does the strangest title count? The song was great... it it's time... but the title was more than difficult:

"She Was Waiting For Her Mother at the Station in Torino and You Know I Love You Baby but it's Getting too Heavy to Laugh" ... Shawn Phillips

...Everyone's gone to the Moon....Jonathan King..1969

Everytime I hear this song, It always makes me think of Ralph Kramden, and in the pause before the tile is sung I ALWAYS add in POW-ZOOM

...always planned to dub that wav into the song

You wanna go to the moon Alice? Do ya wanna go to the MOON? POW ZOOM! Everyone's gone to the moon......

I noticed that in the latest movie remake of the honeymooners ( 2005 ) Ralph tells Alice he is going to send her to the moon in a romantic sense. It is used once in this movie and never again.

Political correctness relative to abuse/anger management issues.

There are so many to choose from, but I will start with "Lily the Pink" from The Scaffold. In 1969, it was a number one single in the U.K. The band featured Paul McCartney's brother, Mike. How many other odes to prescription drugs have gone to the top of the charts?
