Jeff Lindorff was the real deal. There was not a phony radio bone in his being. No hype, no bull, just a very sharp guy doing a great job at radio, both on the air, and off. In 1980, I first met him in Corvallis, and had the pleasure of working with Jeff for another 21/2 years at KLOO-KFAT. As one of the original jocks, Jeff was instrumental in helping us implement the
legendary KFAT country format. Jeff was too damn young to die.
