My wife and I bought a used car last week. I grabbed an old cassette today, to see if the tape player worked. Lo and behold, not only did the tape deck work, but on the tape were hilites of your last ever show on KGW!!!!!!!!

The Cafeteria Lady came with me to Seattle. She did the menus on the radio until 1981 when a KING format change to all-news forced her retirement from the school district. She moved to the Phoenix area where she got a job as a jail cook for Sheriff Joe Arpaio. She is a three-time winner of the "Pink Handcuff Award" for creation of unrecognizable entrees and is currently considering a run for the US House of Representives from Avondale.

Cafeteria Lady is the three time winner of the Pink UNDERWEAR Award. The handcuffs Sheriff Joe uses are those whimpy plastic things.
