That trailer looks great. Right before the snow hit, I drove up to Portland to see "Cadillac Records". It was fun, but flawed. No mention was ever made the fact that there were two Chess brothers. No mention that Chess Records was originally called Aristocrat Records. No mention was made of Bo Diddley. I wish that they would have moved the vintage cars to different positions to illustrate a lapse of a few years in the story. I wish they would have shown some 78 rpm records in the early 1950s. I can't feature any old-time blues singers smoking filer cigarettes. |

I checked that link . . . the movie is still on the film festival circuit. Typically that would indicate that it is at least a year away from a DVD release if it gets picked up by a distributor -- this of course being the typical goal of the filmmaker -- selling the film. |
