SAGE is offering free access to their entire set of journals until April 30th. I downloaded the study linked, and plan on scooping a lot of stuff tomorrow. That's a nice look at leading edge peer-reviewed publications covering pretty much every field.

It seems he is the grand master of satire after all. He does it so very well that those he's making fun of think he's really just pretending, and that deep down he's trying to get the word out to the friendlies!

Awesome!

I love this guy.

Conversely, I feel pretty stupid for ever thinking that Limbaugh was serious and not kidding. I still don't understand why people on the right cite him as legitimate with a straight face though. But there have been quite a few of them here to set me straight about that; He's an entertainer.

But good for Colbert. For some reason I end up seeing his show more than Stewart's. Even though I kinda like Stewart's more than Colbert's. I think I'll go watch it right now.

Colbert's show was, and still is to some extent, a parody of Bill O'Reilley's "factor". I personally like the show, which IMO sometimes is funnier than Stewart.

As for Rush, I'm sorry but every passing year he seems less relevant and entertaining. And that has nothing to do with politics, just the quality of his show.

I don't want to pay to receive TV, so I don't watch Colbert. However, the few times that I have caught parts of his show, it was pretty obvious that he was doing satire.

And masses of people believe The National Inquirer is legitimate news. Common sense is less common than it should be.

I for one never accused any conservative of having a sense of humor. Good lord, anyone who's read about his show knows he advises his guests he's playing an idiot and even with that, they still don't get it. Of course, that makes it funnier whether they are left or right.
