This could be part of a Monty Python bit.....

Pies. Alright then. How to defend yourself when being attacked by someone holding a slice of strawberry Rhubarb pie!

My wife makes a mean fruit pie using the different fruits from our urban farm.

I do love it ala mode but in my case it's non-dairy ice cream, but with the same sweating intensity.

Cherry. With vanilla ice cream.

Not the sickingly sweet cherries either. Has to be somewhat tart.

So many choices. Summertime apple pie out of the fridge cold to the point where the apples are almost crisp again.

Wintertime gimme my mom's pumpkin pie with a buttload of freshly whipped cream... little powder sugar in it.... mmmmm.

French apple, with lots of brown sugar and cinnamon sprinkled on top. Cherry comes in a close second.

Pie is definetley my weakness!

I had authentic Shepherd's Pie at historic Williamsburg, VA. Interesting meal baked in a large individual dish; incredibly light, flakey crust over an inch thick, with the pie at the bottom. Hard to eat without creating a massive crumb debris field.
