Next, they want to tell you what color car you can have, or at least what color you can't have. There is apparently no stopping these lunatics.

Deane, go back and actually *read* the article. Wherein does it state this piece of legislation was prompted by those of liberal viewpoint?

"Another troublesome fact: Heat-reflecting paints for black and other dark colors on vehicles have not been invented yet."

Sounds almost like yet another troublesome Micro$oftism....... ;o)

It doesn't. Deanne said "lunatics" and therefore you assumed "liberals". If the shoe fits......

Back to the article. Another GOOD reason NOT to live in Californication.

Most of California's troubles are based on liberal lunacy. Oh well, if they think destroying their state is worth living under a bridge or in a tent city in order to wallow in their liberal viewpoint, they can have at it.

I enjoy living in a conservative state with only 4% unemployment.

The title doesn't point towards liberals?

I'll cop to assuming that he's talking about liberals, when he usues it in the very title of the thread, if you'll cop to forgetting that you missed the title.

The title is: "What next from the California liberal looney bin!"

Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

If you want to play with the big boys, you better come with some better material.

As for California, the liberal lunacy you speak of is responsible for the world's 10th largest economy. California does so well, they pay more into the federal tax system than they receive in monetary benefits.

In fact, as a resident of Nebraska, you should thank California for their welfare to your state, you ungrateful ingrate.

....California does so well, they pay more into the federal tax system than they receive in monetary benefits.......

Except that even with the large economy they are deep in the hole deficit wise with their own budget, despite their high tax rate... They need to do a better job matching spending to tax receipts...

Well, California could always impose a " FLAT BLACK TAX " ....of course they run the risk of offending some Political Correctness coalition.

Just have an excise tax on Black Cars. Hey there is an Idea, they could pay their teachers with the money from the excise tax...pay back those IOUs to their Public Employees.

Anyone wonder why the world's 10th largest economy is bankrupt? Could it be they're spending too much on social programs? Just wondering.

Without the California economy, the federal government would be in no position to defend backward states like Nebraska (or any other state for that matter) from terrorists and commies.

Instead of knocking revenue generating states when your state isn't one, they should focus on keeping an eye on their lawns for kids that trespass.
