What I don't get is how social conservatives can kowtow to a three time divorcee with a nasty drug habit and a fondness for face lifts?

Rush is the biggest (literally) example of how the mainstream radio listening public, shrinking demo that it is, loves to listen to someone whom they not only disagree with but loathe. Add that group to the dittoheads and you have quite an audience.
